Almotamar Net - Assistant of Sana’a Governor Addulmalik al-Gharbi has Monday confirmed the setting free of the Dutch man and his wife who have been held for the last two weeks by outlaws in the area of Bani Dhabyan, Sana’a governorate, 80km to the south-east of the capital.

Almotamar.net - Assistant of Sana’a Governor Addulmalik al-Gharbi has Monday confirmed the setting free of the Dutch man and his wife who have been held for the last two weeks by outlaws in the area of Bani Dhabyan, Sana’a governorate, 80km to the south-east of the capital.
Al-Gharbi told almotamar.net that the Dutch expert and his wife had before sunset Monday headed for the capital Sana’a and it was expected to arrive at twelve o’clock at night.

He added that about 20 local officials and social personalities and officials of the state were accompanying the two guests of Yemen after they have succeeded in their release without responding to any demands of outlaw kidnappers.

The government official pointed out to security tightening the grip on the kidnappers and spotting the location of their presence in addition to intensification of pressures by the local council and sheikhs and notables of the area just a few hours before the release of the two hostages. He ascribed the causes of prolonging the period of the hostages holding to not responding to any demands of the kidnappers.
