Almotamar.net - Yemen Prime Minister Dr Ali Mohammed Mujawar praised on Monday the results realized in the local authority conferences held in all governorates of Yemen as well as the comprehensive dialogue and responsible discussions of issues of development and concerns of the citizen.

In statements to Al-Mithaq newspaper published on Monday Mujawar confirmed that the decisions and recommendations taken by conferences of the local authorities form a significant step towards fulfillment of the national project for building the Yemeni modern state. The project, he said, was part of the initiative of President Ali Abdullah Saleh regarding development of the political system and draft constitutional amendments.

The Premier revealed about expected constitutional and legal amendments to taken by the government for the aim of raising the level of executive apparatuses performance in the governorates in response to aspirations of the citizens expressed by participants in the local authority conferences in those governorates.
He has made it clear that the said conferences have diagnosed the problems and difficulties facing the development process in the governorates. The conferences also pinpointed aspects of failure in work of executive bureaus. he said the government would invest the results the expanded people�s dialogue , benefit from it and implement what they included of decisions , particularly with regard to providing of basic services and tackling the unsuccessful development, services and investment projects and putting an end to negligence in public services.
He added there would be no leniency in dealing with those involved in corrupt matters in the4 bid of the government for uprooting corruption and completion of the process of economic, financial and administrative reform.
The Yemeni Premier said the government would in the next period prepare the national program for the implementation of the national strategy for the local rule in line with the recommendations and opinions came out with by the local authority conferences. He affirmed that the government is determined to amend the local authority law to the local rule law and to amend texts in the operative law contradicting the local rule law.

Dr Mujawar pointed out that the government is determined to complete project of the administrative division and preparation of its law and present administrative divisions are to be reconsidered in dependence on scientific, economic and social foundations.
