Almotamar.net, Saba - President Ali Abdullah Saleh has held telephone talks with Somalia's President Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed on the latest developments in Somalia.

During the conversation, President Saleh asserted Yemen's strong stand by Somalia to achieve its national unity and bring it peace and stability again.

For his part, the Somali president assured that any extremist forces would not achieve their evil goals to destroy the unity of Somali people.
