Almotamar.net - Yemen Minister of Transport Khalid Ibrahim al- wazir has said Tuesday it is too early at this stage to pinpoint causes of the crash of the plane of Yemenia airline, crashed in the Comoros at early hours of Tuesday.

Al-Wazir also commented on some media reports about the possibility that the incident was a result of technical faults, depending on notes the French aviation authorities had made at previous times about that plane. He said those remarks were two years a go and were absolutely not related to aspects of the technical safety but rather focused on dcor and entertainment inside the passengers compartment .
Yemen Saba news agency has quoted the Minister his confirmation that all technical procedures, certificates of the plane and safety measures were above excellent and the history of the Yemeni airways over more than forty years is a witness on safety and measures carried out in them.

He explained that the last overall technical inspection was the beginning of last may under supervision of the Airbus representative. He has drawn the attention that the Yemenia Airways Company obtained international certificate on operation and safety from the International Federation of Air Transport.
