Almotamar.net - SANAA- Head of the General People’s Congress (GPC) Information Office has regretted deeply the language used by the information official of the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) presidential election candidate ‘s campaign Ali al-Sarrari with which he tried to express his reaction to the address of the GPC candidate in his first festival in the governorate of Saadah on Wednesday. The city of Saadah witnessed on Wednesday massive gathering attending the GPC candidate’s festival. Mr. Tariq Ash-Shami said if it is the right of anyone from any party of the JMP to express the state of confusion and commotion that afflicted him while seeing Ali Abdullah Saleh, the GPC candidate, amidst those masses celebrating his going to the governorate of Saadah has made them disappointed and against their expectations, let their language be a democratic one aloof from offending the person of the GPC candidate or his electoral campaign.
Ash-Shami has distanced himself from being dragged to al-Sarari’s recklessness in the way he described the GPC candidate electoral campaign in a language disclosing a condition of loss of self-control that dominated the JMP leaders since the firs moments of the GPC candidate’s announcement of staring his electoral campaign in the governorate of Saadah and to continue it in the rest of the Yemeni governorates. That has hit the JMP, including al-Sarrari with a shock.
Head of the GPC information office called on al-Sarrari to re-polish his language and listen attentively to what is uttered by the JMP candidate to rectify him and to address people in a reasonable way away from instigation or accusations.
Mr. Ash-Shami concluded his statement by expressing his astonishment of that reaction violating all boundaries of good manners, concepts of democracy and expressing whatever political stances. He pointed out that the popular celebration and welcome by the people of Saadah towards the GPC candidate is heir declared expression of sticking to Ali Abdullah Saleh leadership, describing it as a normal thing and will be repeated in all other governorates. He said t Yemeni masses, in rallying in this way behind their leader, express truly their exchange of loyalty and his representation of patriotic leadership. They realize that Ali Abdullah Saleh is a guarantee for their future and that of their sons and for the advancement and prosperity of Yemen.
On the other hand, Ash-Shami commented on the role played by Fathi al-Azab considering him as being unable to play a role of a presidential candidate but sufficed himself to repeat what he is told by his party’s leadership. During his speeches he appeared not possess an electoral platform but rather an organ sending accusations and lies.
