Almotamar.net - The official spokesman for the government in Yemen, the minister of information Hassan al-Lawzi emphasized on Tuesday that the state is going ahead in putting an end to the sedition of rebellion and sabotage in the province of Saada.

In his weekly news conference on Tuesday al-Lawzi said the decisions of the political leadership, the government, the supreme security committee and the constitutional institutions are at present clear and accurate there must be continuation in chasing operations of the rebellion and combing the areas they rebels were stationed until the achievement offending this sedition and restoring the normal life to al the districts that have been suffering from crimes of the sabotage gangs. He added that operations aimed to end these elements are carried out with patience and selection of targets.

The minister criticized the some hurrying for results of the confrontations as they do not realize the nature of Saada province with regard to geographical terrains and where the rebels move in this 11 thousand kilometre square mostly mountainous province.

On the rebel elements announcement of releasing prisoners from sons of some provinces, the minister said in this confrontation there are nothing called prisoners but rather there are kidnapped and hostages held by those criminals , clarifying that one of the basic demands of the government is to release the kidnapped.

Al-Lawzi also pointed to results of the events of this sedition in displacement of thousands of citizens who were forced to leave their houses and villages because of attacking them and plundering and destroying their houses at the hands of the elements of terror and rebellion. He revealed that there are migrant s from sons and families o the rebels themselves and they are received and taken care of at migrants camps and are provided with requirements of lodging and relief in accordance with directives of the political leadership on the state commitment to care for all migrants from all areas.

On how the state is dealing with the latest threats of the rebel gangs, the minister clarified that that the government and the supreme security committee gives great attention of all rebels' threats and media statements and study them. Meanwhile the minister played down the importance of those threats and statements considering what they contain as a campaign of lies and psychological war and accurately worded language for influencing the outside public opinion. He pointed out that the state is conscious and heroes of the army in the three axes of Sufyan, Saada and Al-Malahidh and security apparatuses present in all areas are fully aware to face up any criminal operations by the elements of terror and rebellion or any other criminal elements.

The minister said the state welcomes those who surrender to the local authority and security and police stations, confirming that the numbers of elements surrendering themselves are increasing continuously. He added that the elements that are captured would stand just trial. He confirmed the government intention to the reconstruction of Saada and spending hugely on that.
