Almotamar.net - Head of the Information Office of the General People's Congress GPC Tareq al-Shamy has on Wednesday emphasized that the recent statements of the terrorist Abdul-Malik al-Houthi and expressed his sympathy with the terrorist Tareq al-Fadhly are not new.

Tareq al-Shamy said since an early time there are indicators to a connection between terrorists and the Houthis and with the secessionists. Those indicators were monitored and now they emerge in an obvious form in the statements made by al-Houthi.

Al-Shamy clarified that indicators of the connection appeared through some statements of secessionists living outside Yemen, who have shown their support for the Houthis, saying the latest attacks committed by elements following al-Fadhly against security men came at the time the grip has been tightened around the terrorist elements in Saada province.

In an interview to Al-Arabiyah Satellite TV Channel, the Head of the GPC's Information Office has made it clear that the common denominations among those elements are that the elements of sabotage and terror in Saada want Saada to be in a state of continuous conflict so that to remain unstable area and a starting point for settling regional and international accounts while al-Qaeda works for creating mischief and to destabilize security and peace so that Yemen becomes a safe haven for them. Al-Shamy added that at the same time the secessionist elements want the existence of a state of instability in the way helps them turn the wheel of history back.
