Almotamar.net - Military units in Al-Malahidh axis in Saada province , north Yemen have launched fierce attacks on positions and hideouts of terrorist elements in many areas and managed to complete clearing the areas of Biyoudh valley from the elements of terror and sabotage and controlling the heights overlooking Biyoudh valley .

Military sources aid Thursday that a number of rebels were killed or wounded in those operations and the rest fled the area leaving behind them their dead bodies that they could not evacuate as a result of confusion and panic they suffered due to the surprise attacks by government fighters. A quantity of weapons was seized as well as landmines the terrorists were trying to plant in the area.

The sources added that military units destroyed many positions of the terrorist elements in Al-Khumasi area and on the road of Al-Radmiya in Saada province. Armed forces fighters have also inflicted heavy losses on those elements and many of them were killed or wounded and another number was arrested during infiltration attempts into some positions in Saada and Al-Malahidh.

Seven terrorists were killed and others wounded on Wednesday after a group of those elements infiltrated into Al Uqab area and blasted a small bridge on the road leading to Al-Samaa Mountain.

In Sufyan axis military and security units continued their advance towards a number of terrorists hideouts and completely controlled the mountain of north Qasaba, Mount al-Markham, heights of Aqabat and Dhieq, Suda Mlahan heights to Al-Barwan and controlled the road leading to Mount Al-Markham, at a time the pockets of terrorists in the areas of Al-Bran and Al-Mabaa are being combed.
