The Prosecution presented confessions of the first defendant Hussein Nasser al-Marwali and the second defendant Mohammed Qassim Ali Qassim al-Ghuli, included in the prosecution investigations.

Confessions of the defendants in minutes of investigations by the prosecution included targeting of foreign tourists who were in a restaurant in the capital Sana'a by preparing a projectile in one of the capital's streets to be fired on a bus carrying the tourists after they have finished having their meal.

In the court session held under chairmanship of Judge Muhsin Alwan the defendants' lawyer Sadiq Mansar asked the court to photocopy the case file to be able to present his defense.

When asked by the court about their confessions, the first defendant denied his saying but the second defendant admitted before the court that the words were his and were true.
