Almotamar.net, Saba - Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon and the UNDP Administrator Helen Clark affirmed Saturday support for Yemen efforts to deepen the comprehensive political and economic reforms, and the provision of the required funding to carry out this move.

During their meeting with Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi, separately, the two UN officers expressed support for the international efforts aiming at helping London conference over Yemen to succeed, scheduled on January 27.

The meetings also shed lights on fields of cooperation between Yemen and the UN at all political, humanitarian and developmental levels.

Moreover, they also reviewed procedures of Yemen to secure roads to deliver humanitarian aid for the internally displaced people as a result of the terror and destruction actions in Saada.

On the other hand, al-Qirbi also met with New York Times editorial board and discussed with them the economic challenges in Yemen and terror challenges in Yemen and the region as a whole.
