Almotamar.net - Head of the Information Office at the ruling General People’s Congress (GPC) in Yemen Tareq al-Shamy -has called Friday on all political forces , at the forefront of which the Joint Meeting Parties(JMP) , to benefit from the decision of wrapping up the chapter of war in the north-western area of Yemen and the call of President Ali Abdullah Saleh on all to adopt the spirit of fraternity, , coherence, tolerance, , love , harmony and peace and to discard violence and hatred and cementing the bonds of national unity and social peace.

Al-Shamy said that call would grant all the opportunity to reconsider the tense stances and to deal responsibly with security, stability and joining efforts for building the homeland and protection of its accomplishments. He said the return of the JMP parliamentary blocs to the parliament indicates that the JMP parties have realized the mistake of their blocs’ absence from the parliament meetings where they were supposed to exercise their legislative and monitoring role away from partisan barricading.

Al-Shamy has also renewed the GPC’s sticking to February agreement , reminding that it remained asking the political parties and organisations which have signed the agreement to resume the dialogue so that to carryout its remaining parts , adding that the opportunity was still available for resuming the serious and responsible dialogue in harmony with the time periods defined by the constitution.
