Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh met on Sunday in Sana'a with Japanese ambassador to Yemen Masakazu Toshikage on the expiry of f his term of office in Yemen.

During the meeting, President Saleh praised Yemen-Japan ties, appreciating Japan's support to Yemen.

President Saleh awarded the outgoing Japanese ambassador the order of merit in cooperation in recognition of his efforts to strengthen bilateral relations of Yemen and Japan.

Toshikage thanked Saleh and appreciated the cooperation of the Yemeni leadership to facilitate his job in the country.
