Almotamar.net - The results of voting process for the election of Speaker for the Yemen parliament led to the winning of MP Yahya Ali al-Raei the post by 164 votes against 8 votes for contesting candidate MP Abdulaziz Jabari while 37 votes were considered as null.

Almotamar.net correspondent at the parliament reported that the process of election of a speaker of the parliament ended at 2:30 pm on Monday. Taking part in the voting amounted to 209 MPs and the number of correct votes were 172 of which the winner MP to the post of the speaker al-Raei got 164 of them and the competing candidate go 8 votes.

It is scheduled that electing the presidency body of the parliament to be held in the afternoon of today Monday.
