Almotamar.net - Yemen interior ministry said Tuesday that security apparatuses referred about 50 persons accused of violating the law to the general prosecution. They are out of 130 persons who were arrested during this month over involvement in unlicensed demonstrations offending the unity and targeting property of innocent citizens and owners of trade shops in the provinces of Lahj, Al-Dhalie and Hadramout.

The ministry pointed out that interrogations were going on with the rest of the accused persons and would be sent to prosecution soon after finishing investigations.

Security authorities say the outlaws had committed acts of sabotage, riot and blocking roads aiming at destabilization of security and stability and spreading hatred among the sons of united Yemen.

Security authorities added that the arrested persons have committed criminal acts and attacks such as blocking roads, plundering properties and attacking security checkpoints, killing security men. Security authorities have affirmed that they would chase all those sabotage and criminal elements that are acting against the homelands unity, security and stability.
