Almotamar.net - Yemen Women Union (YWU) is scheduled to hold its 3rd National Conference in celebration of marking 20 years on the unity of the Yemeni Union and the Woman Movement as well as the Woman World Day.

The conference , which is scheduled to be held under patronage of President Ali Abdullah Saleh , is expected to discuss a number of issues of concern to the Yemeni woman , among them the studies dealing with violence against the woman , the woman and armed conflicts, , early marriage , violence against juveniles , damage of early maternity , increase of knowledge and awareness among the youth from the two sexes on the safe age of marriage , as well as other studies.

The conference is also to discuss role of the woman in development, education, teaching children and youth the national loyalty, informing them on the meaning of democracy meaning and how to practice it with comprehension, awareness and responsibility as well as teaching them the importance of dialogue and its importance for solving all problems.

The conference is also t review all accomplishments achieved for the Yemeni woman during the age of the Yemeni unity and how the conditions of the woman were in the southern and northern provinces before the Yemeni unity.
