Almotamar.net, Saba - Vice President Abdu Rabo Mansour Hadi affirmed on Tuesday the political leadership's keenness to support the Holy Quran memorizers, who are messengers of goodness and peace.

Opening the First Forum of the Holy Quran Memorizers, Hadi noted to the attention paid for honoring the memorizers of the Holy Quran, which was revealed by Allah as a light and guidance for those who fear Allah and a mercy for the worlds.

Hadi called upon the workers in the field of the religious call to address the risks of sliding some youth of the nation towards extremism and terrorism through the wisdom and advice.

He urged the official and popular institutions concerned with memorizing the Holy Quran to deepen the commitment to the moderation approach and to avoid anything that could provoke sectarian tendencies, and to contribute to correcting misconceptions about Islam to others.

"Yemen will remain a pure source of the proper religious sciences and the sound juristic jurisprudences and the culture of tolerance, moderation, love and brotherhood", Hadi said.

Concluding his speech, Hadi called on all sons of the Arab and Islamic nation to unite their positions for owning the unified will and power to defend the Islamic shrines and al-Quds (Jerusalem) and to confront the Zionist schemes that seek to obliterate the Arab and Islamic identity in Palestine.
