Almotamar.net, Saba - Vice President Abduh Raboh Mansor Hadi inspected on Sunday preparations for celebrations on the 20th anniversary of 22nd May- day of re-unification of two former parts of the country.

Hadi highlighted level of preparations for youths and art teams, which are preparing for performing their shows in day of the celebration.

Meanwhile, the vice president held a meeting for the officials of executive offices and members of the local councils as well as security and military commanders in the province over preparations for this key event.

He urged all to double their efforts to prepare for this occasion well, asking the security committee to practice high level conscious to prevent any act might harm security and public peace in the province.

He also pointed out to the development projects that were opened in the province, saying that further projects would be opened soon.

The vice president said that the political leadership represented by President Ali Abdullah Saleh concerns about water shortage in the province, adding that efforts are underway to supply the city of Taiz with waters by desalination.
