Almotamar.net - Yemen Vice-President Abid Rabu Mansour Hadi discussed Tuesday with the United States of America ambassador to Yemen Gerald M. Feierstein relations between Yemen and the U.S. in various areas especially in relation to combating terror, mainly the al-Qaeda organisation.

The meeting discussed also the recent developments and the efforts exerted for preservation of the democratic pursuit and its consolidation and the importance of holding the upcoming parliamentary elections on time in parallel with making the required reforms in the lections law and other fields.

The American ambassador affirmed in the meeting that the USA and all of Yemen�s allies bless the successes achieved in this respect, expressing appreciation of the obvious efforts by Yemen in this area and the significance of offering necessary assistance and support.
