Almotamar.net, Saba - Sana-Caretaker Prime Minister Ali Mujawar said on Saturday that the educational reality still reflects deficiencies despite the multiple achievements in this sector.

This came in his speech at a ceremony honoring 750 teachers from various provinces on the occasion of Teacher's Day.

"All concerned bodies should work to address these imbalances and in particular with regard to the redeployment of teachers according to a scientific basis", said Mujawar.

The deficiencies in the educational process should be addressed seriously by the Education Ministry and local authority, Mujawar stressed.

He confirmed that the efforts made by the State in order to improve the quality of education are big and have achieved significant results.

"The celebration of this occasion is gaining an importance in this special stage being witnessed by the Yemeni people in light of an unprecedented worsening crisis", Mujawar said.

He pointed out that those who push youth to the squares of protests are targeting the educational process in an attempt to impede it, adding that the education should not be a subject for any dispute.

He urged teachers to inculcate the culture of love, harmony, dialogue and respect and democratic principles amid the students by word and deed.
