Almotamar.net - Taiz-Chairman of the Shoura Council in Yemen Abdul Aziz Abdul Ghani revealed in Taiz province Saturday that sit-ins inflict losses on Yemen estimated at billions of dollars due t the negative ramifications on the economy, development plans and programmes of assistance which Yemen obtains for implementing its commitments to the donors , as part of the Yemen friends Group.

In meeting organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Taiz province Saturday and attended by tradesmen and businessmen there, Abdul Ghani expressed his appreciation of the keenness of tradesmen and businessmen on working for providing developmental continuation of development stability and to preclude aggravation of negative impact which was caused by the crisis on the living condition of the people.

The meeting was attended also by deputy premier for security and defence affairs in the caretaker government Dr Rashad al-Alimi, governor of Taiz Hamoud Khalid al-Soufi, deputy education minister Dr Abdullah al-Hamidi and the member of the Shoura Council Mansour Abdul Jalil.

Abdul Ghani has reviewed developments of the crisis in the country at this stage and the protests and sit-ins, clarifying its hidden goals. He said what the Yemeni arena is witnessing at present comes in the context of a scheme aimed to undermine security and stability in the region countries , including Yemen , and as part of a new strategy based on instigating protests and spreading of chaos.

He pointed out that the dialogue is the ideal means through which all should overcome the state of congestion and reach at solutions achieving interests of the homeland and guaranteeing its security and stability.

Abdul Ghani said the visit to Taiz came under directives by President Ali Abdullah Saleh to see the course of situations in the province closely and requirements and aspirations of its residents, renewing the emphasis on commitment of the state to secure security of the sit-inners of the youth and understand their legitimate demands. Meanwhile, he called on the youth to be careful of all that lead to descending to chaos and violence.

For his part Dr Rashad al-Alimi reviewed the cautions the [political crisis involves under the existence of ready-made projects for dividing the he country and undermine its gains. He called on the commercial sector to contribute with its role in this stage ongoing in the country to consolidate the stability and avoid what leads to aggravate ramifications of the crisis.
