The Cabinet approved on Wednesday deduct a day payment of all State employees' salaries for receiving, sheltering and transporting expatriates deported from Saudi Arabia.

It also ordered to immediately disburse YR 10 million from the State's budget for this purpose and form a ministerial committee headed by Minister of Expatriates Affairs to undertake the coordination and follow-up the relevant procedures.

It stressed to form a special fund for the amounts, calling the private sector, businessmen and Yemen's partners of donor countries and organizations and civil society organizations to contribute actively to support the fund.

The cabinet's orders came in its weekly meeting chaired by Prime Minister Mohamed Salem Basindwa, which was dedicated to discuss the urgent interventions to the issue of Yemeni expatriates deported from Saudi Arabia, who were unable to handle their status in accordance with the amendment to the Article 39 of the Saudi labor law.

The Cabinet stressed the importance of coordinating efforts to accelerate the registration of the deportees' information and provide the necessary care for them.
