The leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) urged on Wednesday all Yemeni forces participating in the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) to give priority to the supreme interests of Yemen.

This came in the closing statement issued today in Kuwait at the end of the 34th two-day session of the GCC Supreme Council.

"The Supreme Council discussed the latest developments on the Yemeni arena, and urged all the forces participating in the comprehensive national dialogue to give priority to the supreme interests of Yemen, come out with consensus decisions achieve the aspirations of the Yemeni people, and preserve Yemen's security, stability and unity," the statement read.

The GCC leaders praised the efforts made by President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi in managing the ongoing transitional stage in Yemen to implement the Gulf initiative, stressing to support him in everything could achieves Yemen's security, development and prosperity.

They announced their condemnation of the terrorist attack taken place in "al-Ordhi Hospital" of the Defense Ministry Compound last Thursday in the capital Sana'a, asserting the GCC countries' position in support of Yemen and all actions taken to maintain its security and stability.
