Almotamar.net - The Saudi Authorities have cancelled the deportation fingerprint of the Yemenis, who were deported from the Kingdom during the correction of foreign labor status in 2013.

The Yemeni embassy charge d'affaires in Riyadh, Mohammed Abdulaziz Othman, said ," we were officially informed on Friday by Undersecretary of the Saudi Interior Ministry, Dr. Ahmed Al-Salem, that Interior Minister Prince Mohammed bin Nayef issued yesterday directives to the Passports Department to cancel the deportation fingerprint taken from the Yemeni workers deported during the correction of the employment situation in the Kingdom last year. "

"The directives allow Yemenis who were deported during the correction period to return to the Kingdom through legal means, with the exception of those sentenced for criminal cases", Othman added.

He pointed out that these trends came as a result of the positive security talks between the two countries, which were held in Riyadh on Wednesday under the chairmanship of the Interior Ministers in the two countries.

Othman considered this step a real embodiment of the deep and close historical brotherly relations between the two neighboring countries, praising the continued support provided by the Kingdom to Yemen at various levels.
