Almotama.net - Taiz-The Joint Meeting Parties (JMP)’s legal advisor lawyer Abdullah Nouman al-Qadasi has sustained a sweeping defeat in the local councils elections against the General People’s Congress (GPC)’s candidate Mohammed Hamoud Shamsan for the district of al-Mawasit in the governorate of Taiz.

Nouman has run for the elections in his hometown local council in the governorate for the district of al-Mawasit, constituency 66 in the name of the JMP but he failed to win because the great popularity of the GPC in this constituency.
It is to be recalled that the constituency is that of the member of parliament Sultan Hizam al-Atwani, secretary general of the Nasserite Unionist Organization.
