By: almotamar.net - SANA'A- Speaker of the Parliament Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hussein al-Ahmer sent President Ali Abdullah Saleh a cable of congratulations on the occasion of his victory in the presidential elections and on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan as well as the 44th anniversary of the September Revolution. The cable reads as,
" I am happy for your winning the presidential elections held in our country. I congratulate you on the confidence which the Yemeni people granted you to lead the process of development, security, and stability and move it forward. I would like also to appreciate the democratic model, the first of its kind, set in our country, which will be recorded in the history."
