By: almotamar.net - SANA�A- President Ali Abdullah Saleh is to swear in before the Parliament members Wednesday in the Parliament premises in Sana�a. The Supreme Commission for Elections and Referendum (SCER) announced Saturday that Ali Abdullah Saleh, candidate of the General People's Congress (GPC), was re-elected to another seven-year-term, scoring 77.17 percent of the vote.
Well-informed sources stated President Saleh is to deliver a speech focusing on the mechanism of implementing the electoral platform in future, as well as Yemen�s foreign relations and ways of enhancing them.
The Parliament has on Monday called for a meeting to be held Wednesday for President Saleh�s swearing in. The Parliament�s call came in response to the SCER�s announcement of the Presidential elections results, and according to Article (109) of the Yemeni Constitution.
