Almotamar Net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh returned to Sanaa on Tuesday after a successful 12-day tour took him to Japan,

Yemen's relations with those countries.

In his tour, President Saleh discussed international efforts for fighting terror and economic reforms in Yemen in addition to how to
develop democracyin the region on the light of recommendations of the summit of the G-8to push back hunger and unemployment.

At his arrival, Saleh stated to Saba that he was satisfied to the results of his tour which came up with reinforcing Yemen's
relationships withthose countries and obtaining support for economic, democratic and financial development in Yemen.

Moreover, Yemen attained support to complete its drive in fighting terror, which has been noticeably decreased in the country and gained
donor countries'admiration.

"Yemen exposed its point views over reforms and the situation in Iraq, Palestine, Somali and the Horn of Africa region in addition to Mehlis report and Security Council resolutions No. 1559 - 1636.

"We also asked for liberating Iraq and ending occupation to give a chance for Iraqis build their country and govern themselves," Saleh
said.

The national delegation confirmed on Sunday its keenness on the success of the Yemeni consultations in Kuwait under the auspices of the United Nations.

This came during a joint session between the national delegation and Riyadh’s delegation in the presence of the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and his special envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed.

At the session, the UN Secretary-General asserted that the position of the international community is clear, which is that the conflict should stop and Yemen should return to the path of political transition.

The Saudi warplanes launched on Saturday an air raid on al-Qashaira Souk market in al-Waze'yah district of Taiz province, a local official said.

The official added the raid caused huge damage to public and private properties. Meanwhile, the Saudi warplanes flew intensively over many districts in Taiz.

The Riyadh's hirelings pounded al-Qashuba area in al-Waze'yah with artillery shells. They also pounded the eastern neighborhoods of Taiz city.

The Saudi-led war jets waged on Thursday four raids on scattered areas in al-Qabitah district of Lahj province, killing a citizen from the district, a military official said.

The official pointed out that the aggression’s warplanes and its mercenaries continued to breach the ceasefire during the past 24 hours in a number of provinces in the country.
